Mentorship Progam
This is a Charitable service mentoring disadvantaged girls in the field of personal development, growth and life skills.
Mentors and mentees meet and communicate regularly and participate in fun activities on a regular basis. In addition, we have weekly meetings, and activities including community service, workshops and shopping trips.
These days, it seems as if Positive Role Models do not exist. Here at Sisters of Destiny, young ladies will learn that you have to love yourself before you can love someone else. We give them examples to emulate, and someone to look up to.
We are transforming lives for the Glory of God.
Broken pieces of clay can be mended and put together again by the potter's hands.
Our Mission Statement
We are our Sister's Keeper. We are concerned about the well being of other women whether they are homeless, imprisoned, abused or just facing difficulties coping with life.
Women were there when Jesus died on the Cross. In fact, they were the last to leave and the first at the tomb when they found He had risen.
We must be there for those who are going through suffering and just brighten their day one woman at a time - one sister at a time. We can wash each other's feet by not being ignorant about the suffering of others, but by getting involved, and carrying each other's burdens unto the Lord for answers and directions.
Our Aim
Mentor Age: 25 - Any years
Mentee Age: 13 - Any years
Our Primary Aim is to teach ladies that their past does not have to equal their future, and that they have the power to choose a different life for themselves.
By allowing positive role models to speak life into them, they will find it easier to set and achieve their own goals, which makes an invaluable impact on their self esteem.
The Sisters of Destiny Ministry - provides support, inspiration, and opportunity to teenage girls throughout High School and Young Adult Ladies that needs direction.
